Meet captain Troy

A true Maine experience starts with a true Maine fisherman. Born and raised in Southwest Harbor, Captain Troy’s life on the water began before he was even a teenager. By age nine, he was already hauling traps by hand from a small skiff, discovering a lifelong passion for the independence of the ocean.

After graduating high school and attending boat school, Troy bought is first major vessel, a 42’ Bruno Stillman, which he originally used for scalloping before transitioning into the lobster industry. .

In 1995, Troy had his first custom boat built, naming it Emily’s Way in honor of his daughter, born just after the launch.

Today, the f/v Heather & Emily proudly provides Archie’s Lobster its daily supply. This “boat-to-table” connection ensures that every lobster we serve is caught by our own family.
